Don’t just take it from us! Voices alumni, Randall MacDonald, shares how STORYHIVE made his dreams a reality. Photo credit: Randall MacDonald. A behind-the-scenes look at the making of Randall to the Rescue. Randall, digital content creator of Randall to the Rescue, has worked hard to become the “fabulista” he is today. So when he was selected for Voices in 2022, he was excited to share a bit of himself with the world.
“Randall to the Rescue is about helping people find their Fabulous!” Randall shares. “But they also teach me something I don’t know or would usually do. We do all this while having tons of fun and laughs.”
He says STORYHIVE’s support was integral to the success of his project.
“I really appreciated the support that was available. In addition to many learning sessions, it was helpful to have a team lead to reach out to. Plus, it was great to be able to interact with the rest of the STORYHIVE creators also working on projects.”
As for advice to anyone interested in joining the new Voices season, Randall says to “know what your strengths are and build a team of people that have skills that you don’t.”
Not only that, Randall encourages new creators to not be afraid to show people your work. “It’s a great ‘in’ to be able to say you’re working with TELUS STORYHIVE. It can open a lot of doors.
