Chamber of Commerce open 2022 business award nominations

The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2022 Business Excellence Awards.

The Awards recognize local businesses across 10 different categories including Corporate-Social Collaboration, Female Leadership and Indigenous Business. Finalists and winners were determined by a specially-formed selection committee, in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce.

Dianna de Sousa, executive director of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, said in a press release on Monday that the past two years have proven how resourceful and resilient the local business community is.

“The team at the Chamber of Commerce and our partners are very excited to bring to you, once again, our Business Excellence Awards program in 2022. We had an amazing event in 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, and look forward to an even grander celebration in 2022,” said de Sousa.

The 2022 Business Excellence Awards will be hosted in-person with food, drinks and local entertainment.
